Highway Safety Grant
The Kemmerer Police Department will be participating in the Wyoming Highway Safety grant effective October 2011 thru November 2012. During this time the Police department will have additional Officers out patrolling The City of Kemmerer to help reduce speed related crashes, increase the usage of seat belts and child restraints, and also to decrease impaired driving.
Below is a list of the events and dates the Police Department will be working.

#3 MAY MOBILIZATION
(May 21st 2012 thru June 3rd 2012) High Visibility Enforcement
#4 FOSSIL FEST
(July 5th 2012 thru July 8th 2012) Impaired Driving Enforcement
#5 OYSTER RIDGE MUSIC FESTIVAL
(July 26th 2012 thru July 30th 2012) Impaired Driving Enforcement
#6 NATIONAL CRACKDOWN
(August 17th 2012 thru September 4th 2012) Impaired Driving Enforcement
The Kemmerer Police Department asks that all drivers BUCKLE UP and DRIVE SAFE.
